Airport Drama! JKIA Woman Busted With Cocaine Pellets Stuffed Inside Her Body on Dubai Flight

There was high drama at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) after detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) pounced on a woman moments before her Dubai-bound flight took off.

The 41-year-old suspect, who thought she could outsmart security, was nabbed after officers discovered she had turned herself into a “walking drug vessel,” hiding pellets of cocaine inside her body.

According to detectives, the woman raised suspicion during routine checks, forcing Anti-Narcotics Unit officers to pull her aside for an extra screening. Their hunch paid off big time — scans revealed she was literally carrying drugs internally.

Placed under medical supervision, the suspect later excreted three pellets of cocaine, confirming the shocking find. She was immediately whisked into custody, with detectives saying investigations are being wrapped up before her arraignment.

This isn’t the first time JKIA has witnessed such daring smuggling attempts. In May, a 25-year-old woman was also nabbed trying to sneak cocaine to Qatar, with the stash carefully packed in her luggage and wrapped in yellow tape.

With JKIA increasingly under the spotlight as a transit hub for international drug cartels, authorities are warning traffickers that their tricks — however desperate — will not fly.
