Raila Odinga Reportedly Flew to India for Treatment Amid Health Speculation

ODM leader Raila Odinga is said to be returning to the country soon after being away from the public eye for several days — sparking widespread speculation about his health.

According to sources close to the opposition chief who spoke to Nairobi Fame on condition of anonymity, Odinga allegedly travelled to India for a medical check-up after developing what was described as a blood clot in his leg.

While the ODM party has not issued an official statement on the matter, reports of his trip have ignited fresh debate online, with supporters expressing concern and others urging patience until verified information is released.

Raila’s aides have remained tight-lipped about his whereabouts, only hinting that he would “soon make a public appearance.”

If confirmed, this would not be the first time the veteran politician has sought medical attention abroad — he has previously been treated in both Dubai and South Africa for undisclosed conditions.
