Court REJECTS Burale’s Bid to Bury Ex-Wife’s ‘Dark Chapter’ Interview!
The courtroom drama involving celebrity life coach Robert Burale and his former wife, Rozinah Mwakideu, just hit a scorching new level!
In a major legal blow, a Nairobi court has REJECTED Burale’s desperate application to force the complete takedown of Rozinah’s viral, tell-all interview. That jaw-dropping YouTube chat, hosted by her brother Alex Mwakideu, has already racked up hundreds of thousands of views since its release on October 4th!
The controversial interview saw Rozinah not hold back, labeling her marriage to Burale a “dark chapter.” The shocking quote that set social media ablaze?
🗣️ “My biggest mistake in life was marrying Robert Burale… my darkest period was being with him.”
On Tuesday, October 28th, at the Milimani Commercial Magistrates’ Court, Chief Magistrate Thomas Nzyoki denied Burale’s plea to delete the already-published material.
However, it wasn’t a total loss for Burale! The Magistrate did throw a lifeline, issuing an interim injunction that forbids the Mwakideus from any further publication of the video or related content.
The ruling states: “An order for interim injunction is granted to stay the defendants (Alex and Rozinah Mwakideu) from any further publication of the complained video on any social media platform…”
Burale’s initial court papers were seeking massive retribution! He wanted the full YouTube takedown, all copies of the content destroyed, a public apology, and a staggering KSh 20 million in damages!
He claims the interview is riddled with false and defamatory claims, including explosive accusations that he is “manipulative, hypocritical, a swindler and homosexual.”
Meanwhile, the Mwakideu siblings are defending their side of the story. Alex Mwakideu publicly denied the interview was a “setup,” claiming he was unaware of the bombshell details his sister was about to drop.
Rozinah, on the other hand, insists she’s just sharing her personal journey, saying, “I have healed, I have moved on… This is my story and I just wanted to share it.”
Mark your calendars, drama lovers! The case is set to be mentioned again on February 25, 2026. This scandal is far from over!
