West Ham Sack Graham Potter After Eight Months, Set to Appoint Nuno Espirito Santo as New Head Coach

West Ham United have parted ways with head coach Graham Potter after just eight months in charge, with the club sitting second-bottom of the Premier League.

The former Chelsea boss was appointed with high expectations of driving the Hammers back into European contention, but a string of poor results has left the London club battling relegation.

Potter’s final match at the helm was a 2–0 defeat that stretched West Ham’s winless run, sparking unrest among fans and leaving the board with little choice but to act.

In a statement, the club thanked Potter for his service but admitted results on the pitch had forced the decision.

West Ham are now set to appoint former Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo as Potter’s successor. The Portuguese coach, who previously led Wolves to Premier League stability and European football, is expected to take charge immediately in an effort to revive the Hammers’ struggling campaign.
