“Bro, I’m ALIVE and KICKING!” Jeff Koinange Finally Breaks Silence After Months MIA

Put down the panic buttons, Kenya! The man with the golden voice, the legend of the bench, and the undisputed king of “Oh My!” has finally spoken.

After months of radio silence that had the entire nation asking “Where is Jeff?”, Jeff Koinange has officially addressed the rumors swirling around his disappearance from our screens.

If you’ve been doom-scrolling through Twitter (X) wondering why Citizen TV’s JKL Live feels different, you aren’t alone. But we finally have the receipts that the veteran anchor is doing just fine.

The update didn’t come through a press conference or a shiny TV promo. It came via a WhatsApp message to media personality and content creator, Xtian Dela.

Responding to the mounting pressure and concern from fans, Jeff kept it classic and energetic in a text to Xtian:

“Bro Bro Bro I’m ALIVE and KICKING.”

Short, sweet, and typically Jeff. This is the first direct confirmation we’ve had from the broadcaster since he seemingly vanished from the limelight back in August, leaving a massive void on Sunday Live.

Let’s be honest, the concern was valid. Jeff is usually the life of the digital party. But his social media pages turned into a ghost town:

  • Facebook & X: No updates since October 25, 2025.
  • Instagram: Last seen October 24 (posted during a Cowboys-themed event).

The silence was loud. Fans flooded his old posts with desperate pleas for information.

  • “Hi Jeff. Please break the silence and tell us that you are well. Info is power,” one user pleaded.
  • “Dear Jeff Koinange… speak, we need to hear you. We miss your voice legend,” wrote another.
  • One skeptic even demanded audio proof: “Atume voice note hata!” (Let him send a voice note at least!)

While Jeff’s text to Xtian Dela is the direct confirmation we needed, eagle-eyed fans might have spotted a clue earlier.

A few weeks ago, radio king Maina Kageni played the role of investigative journalist for us. On October 28, Maina dropped a TikTok video that eased a lot of tension. The clip showed Jeff walking, chatting, and looking relaxed—far from the dire rumors circulating online.

Maina captioned the video with a promise:

“Jeff is doing great and will be back on our screens very soon.”

With Maina’s visual proof and Jeff’s text confirmation that he is indeed “kicking,” it’s safe to say the bench won’t be cold for much longer.

While we don’t have an official return date yet, the message is clear: The legend is resting, recharging, and getting ready to bring the fire back to Citizen TV.

Hang in there, fam. It’s gonna be Smokin’ when he returns!
