Kioni Unmasks Gachagua: Secret Votes-for-Power Deal With Ruto
Jubilee Party Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni has sensationally accused former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua of secretly working hand-in-hand with President William Ruto — despite publicly posturing as his rival.
Speaking on Hot 96, Kioni claimed Gachagua recently held a hush-hush meeting in Narok with about 15 leaders, including members of the clergy, where he reportedly spilled the beans on his hidden pact with Ruto.
According to Kioni, Gachagua allegedly told the gathering that Ruto had already sent emissaries to strike a deal, assuring Narok Town Ward aspirant Joshua Ole Kaputa that his denied DCP ticket would be compensated with a nomination later.
And the numbers game? Gachagua is said to have bragged that he would deliver 7 million votes from Mt. Kenya, 1 million from Kalonzo’s camp, and 800,000 from Matiang’i — enough, he claimed, to secure “more than half the cake” and share it with the Maasai community.
But Kioni was clear — Jubilee won’t touch politicians entangled in “sinister political deals.”
“We will only work with like-minded parties focused on sending Ruto home, not those in shady ‘you bring yours, I bring mine’ arrangements,” he declared.
He also fired up young Kenyans, urging them to flood voter registration as IEBC kicks off its fresh drive to add 6.3 million new voters to the roll.
“Don’t just complain about the government — register, vote them out, or else you’re voting them back in,” he warned.
With 2027 in sight, the accusations are throwing fresh heat into an already charged political battlefield.
⚡ Question is — is Gachagua really Ruto’s “secret wingman,” or is Kioni just stirring the pot?
